Important pair of discoid funerary terracottas of carinated form with dark crusty patina, showing stylized serene faces decorated with scarifications: cowries, digitate line. The male counterpart is decorated with a beard. Lateral opening under the mouth. The mouth and the beard are broken, and there are some small cracks. This pottery is similar to the ones that were placed on a commemorative site in the forest (asensia) during the second funeral of the deceased. Dim. 70 x 66 and 75 x 65 cm. Akan Ghana Ref.
