* 97. MICHEL (Claude-Sidoine) & DESNOS (Louis-Charles). L'In - Lot 97
* 97. MICHEL (Claude-Sidoine) & DESNOS (Louis-Charles). L'Indicateur fidèle ou Guide des voyageurs, qui enseigne toutes les routes royales et particulières de la France, routes surveées topographiquement dès le débutment de ce siècle, et assujetties à une graduation géométrique. Paris, Desnos, 1765. In-4, 20 plates, 10 p., red half-chagrin with smooth spine (19th century binding). All double-page or filled-in leaves are watercoloured and mounted on tabs. The atlas consists of an engraved title page, an engraved calendar for 1766 by Le Charpentier and Dubruslins, a road map of France, a map of Paris, 16 road maps and 10 pages of text.
17 maps out of the 21 maps announced in the calendar, but the copy digitized by the Bnf does not have this calendar but a dedication page instead, and it has only 19 maps itself. The composition of the atlas seems to vary from one copy to another.
Good general condition, the defects are minor.
