Amsterdam, s.n., 1787. In-12, [1] f., iv, 236 p., marbled buff basane, spine ribbed. A copy of the work of Joseph de Saige (1735-1812), a lawyer from Bazad and member of the Third Estate, a true extension of Rousseau's Social Contract which evokes the class struggle at an early stage. Small leather damages to the binding, missing the title page, marginal wetness. Not in Labadie, who had only the Catechism of the Citizen, by the same author.
