* 214. Brevet de notaire royal, manuscript on parchment with seal (broken), 1666. 33 x 50 cm.Brevet de notaire royal, tabellion et garde-notes au Châtelet d'Orléans for Hervé Boucher. Manuscript on vellum signed Philippe d'Orléans (1640-1701), younger brother of Louis XIV (secretary), with a two-sided wax seal, partly broken with missing parts, depicting a rider brandishing a sword on one side, the arms of France on the other. It is accompanied by a receipt of payment of duties signed by Roques, financier of His Royal Highness, with wax seal with the arms of France.
