In-12, 99 p., green percaline boards, gilt title in the center of the cover.Uncommon work and a copy in good condition of this "humorous apology" under an assumed name of the Viscount Jean Jacques Louis Paul de Chasteigner (1827-ca. 1890) illustrated with a title and engravings by the cartoonist Paul Hadol (1835-1875).
Copy with autograph dispatch from the author to his friend Henry Ribadieu.
The Viscount draws from literature the descriptions that were given at various times of the Bordeaux woman, then gives his description of the elegant woman in 1870. Minor flaws.
