Rare set of twelve surgical instruments, made of copper, brass and iron, with cylindrical handles enhanced with brass rings ending with the Vajra motif. The other end is decorated with a motif of a mythological aquatic creature that seems to hold blades and tips of different shapes depending on the use (bloodletting, cauterization, eye surgery, etc.). Set intended for educational use, in accordance with Buddhist precepts. Unsharpened blades. One point dislocated. Length: 34 to 40 cm. - TIBET
