The bookseller-publisher Antoine-Urbain Coustelier who edited this work is known for his publication in ten volumes of a collection of old French poets, including Coquillart. Binding slightly rubbed. (Brunet, II, 267) 2 works of the XVIIth century are joined: - TASSO (Torquato). L'aminte. Paris, Claude Barbin, 1666. In-12, brown granite calf, spine decorated, speckled edges. First edition of the French translation by Abbé Torche. The illustration includes a frontispiece and 6 intaglio plates by Louis Cossin, in the first edition. Mottling (sound) throughout the book. - JOUVANCY (Joseph de). Quid sibi Gallia de serenissimi Burgundiae ducis institutione debeat polliceri. Oratio ad solemnem scholarum instaurationem habita in regio Ludovici Magni. Paris, Gabriel Martin, 1690, In-12, 72 p., brown granite calf, spine with ornate nerves, speckled edges. Beautiful frontispiece by Sevin. Binding rubbed, spines cracked, accident to the lower cap, leather dry.
