212. [Press photograph]. MANUEL (Henri). Notebook containing 65 silver prints, mostly 15 x 10 cm, 1926-1927. Photographic prints captioned and attributed on the back to Henri Manuel (1874-1947) by wet stamp or typography, including portraits of: the architect J. B. Hourlier, trafficking in decorations, General Carence, the funeral of Father Foch, the inauguration of the Foire de Paris, the inauguration of the rue Mallet-Stevens, Varenne and S. M. the Emperor of France. M. l'Empereur d'Annam, the transfer of Julius Slowacki's ashes to Poland, Victor Hugo's house in Guernsey, the launching of the cruiser Suffren, the treaty between France and Yugoslavia, the Concours d'Elegance of automobiles in Deauville, etc. The photographs have pinholes at all four corners, other minor defects.
