285. HÉMARD (Joseph, ill.) & QUEVEDO (Francisco de). History of a great rascal named Don Pablo. Paris, la tradition, 1942. In sheets with filled cover, folder and case, 26 x 20 cm. Limited edition of 645 copies, this one being one of the 100 copies on Lana vellum with a black suite with remarks. Case a little damaged. Enclosed : Les Fioretti de saint François d'Assise. Paris, Club du livre, 1966. 2 vols. First volume in a pastiche binding in the troubadour taste in brown basane cold-stamped with medieval ornaments on the boards, brass clasps, gilt head. The second volume contains the suites and commentaries in a folder. The set is preserved in a slipcase in the manner of a book-box. Edition limited to 3030 copies, this one being one of the 300 copies on Hollande to which were attached 2 suites in color of the hors-texte illustrations printed on madagascar and on pur fil. Case rubbed.
