Large folded map (90 cm x 58 cm) hand-colored at the time (see Gallica copy). Very fresh colors. This map was originally inserted in a custom-made binding from which it unfolds. Bound in marbled tan calf, smooth spine decorated with grotesque, title (Tarbe) and map number (75). Triple fillet framing on the boards. Binding rubbed. Beautiful map in very fresh colors which is quite original in its 18th century binding. A few small worm holes in the map. Attached: - Biarritz guide. Paris-Orléans, Impr. Hermet, 1893. In-8 of 94 p., illustrated with 30 phototypes or pen-and-ink drawings and 42 pages of illustrated ads. Paperback. - DEVERIA (Eugène). Picturesque costumes of the Ossau valley and the Pyrenees.
