Selfish silver jug of baluster shape, body with twisted ribs, engraved with coat of arms under ducal crown and cross of Lorrains in a rich architectural decoration. Turned wood side handle, it rests on three feet skids. Hallmark Paris 1776 on the body - Goldsmith: Jean-Pierre Marteau, received master in Paris on March 19, 1757. Overdecorated with repoussé and a button opening for the later mousetrap. 354 g / H. 17 cm
