55. [DUPUY (Tiburce). Les Pénitents d'amour, a Poitevin legend to be set to music, four acts, six tableaux. Paris, J. Claye, 1875. In-8, [3] f., 121 p., blond half-calf with corners, spine with nerves. Rare opus printed in 50 copies and evoking a brotherhood which existed in Poitou in the 12th century. Its members lit large fires in summer and faced the cold in winter to brave the harshness of the seasons.
Binding slightly rubbed, some foxing.

Binding very slightly rubbed, one corner dulled, some foxing.
