65. FREZIER (Amédée François). Traité des Feux d'Artifice. The Hague, J. Neaulme, 1741. In-12, iv, xviii, 396 p. (num. 394), [3] f. (tables), marbled fawn basane, spine ribbed and decorated. The treatise on pyrotechnics by the military engineer and navigator Amédée-François Frézier (1682-1773) is illustrated with a beautiful engraved frontispiece, three vignettes, one of which is of a technical nature, and 8 plates outside the text showing all sorts of rockets, sheaves, chalices, sausages, sticks, etc. Illustration thus complete for this edition.
Binding worn with minor spotting, slight leather wear, head and spine worn, ink stain in the lower margin of half the volume, away from the text, small stain on p. 392, other defects are minor.
