In-12, xxiv, 352 p., red morocco with smooth spine decorated, triple gilt fillet frame on the boards, gilt edges. A key book on the political and gallant intrigues of the court of Louis XIV, the first work in which the Masque de fer was mentioned, according to Barbier who devotes a long notice to the work.
