357 engravings and photogravures in the text, and accompanied by its viticultural atlas, realized by Rémy Hausermann (1843-1933) with 19 colored wine maps, most of them folded (France, Gironde, Burgundy, Beaujolais, Mâconnais, Chalonnais, Champagne, Algeria, Turkey, etc.) and 16 chromolithographic plates representing the aspect of parasitic vine diseases on grapes.
Bindings rubbed, hinges broken on the text volume (the upper board is loose), other defects are minor.
