The collection is formed as follows: Ordonnance de la Marine de 1681. S.l.n.d. Begins on folio 47 in roman characters and ends on folio 124. Mémoire fait par les ordres de M. de Sartines, Ministre de la marine en 1777, d'après lequel le Gouvernement a formé l'entreprise des travaux de Cherbourg en 1783, sous le ministère du Mal de Castries. Cherbourg, Clamorgan, 1796. 60 pages followed by 2 sheets of observations and 10 pages of tables. [Manuscript]. Capture of the city of Cherbourg, August 8, 1758, by an eyewitness of the actions of the English from their descent to their reembarkation. S.l.n.d. Manuscript of 55 pages which is probably to be compared with the manuscript of the library of Cherbourg in the middle of the XIXth century, which would be itself a copy of the ms of brother Zacharie, religious of the community of M. de La Salle.
