Émile GALLE (1846-1904) Part of a Tears model glass service, circa 1880, in smoky glass, gold enamelled decoration and applications, monograms on all pieces in gold and burgundy tones comprising : - six water glasses (H. 14.5 cm), - four liqueur glasses, (H. 9 cm) - one wine glass, (H. 10.4 cm) - two champagne glasses, (H. 10.2 cm) - five saucers, (Ø. 15 cm) - one flask (H. 27.5 cm) - and a jug (H. 21.5 cm) - two additional bottle stoppers Accidents - condition report available on request. References: several service pieces and preparatory drawings for Emile Gallé's Larmes model are held in the Musée d'Orsay collections.
