Cabinet in ebony veneer and solid wood, engraved or carved in bas-relief in geometric reserves with guilloche moldings; it opens with two doors centered on medallions representing an allegory of maritime commerce in the form of Neptune raising his trident and Mercury in clouds. The front is surmounted by a frieze of foliate scrolls centered on a satyr mascaron. The two wide leaves reveal an interior also veneered with engraved ebony and decorated with floral motifs of carnations, tulips, roses, etc. It features fourteen drawers framing two small leaves which in turn reveal a precious theater with an architectural décor of balustrades, colonnades, paintings and polychrome statuettes; geometric inlays adorn the floor and ceiling and a play of mirrors accentuate the perspective effect. Louis XIV period. It stands on a blackened wood base with twisted columns featuring three drawers, one of which is large in the center, and a crosspiece forming a shelf; small flattened ball feet.
