186. BILIBIN (Ivan Yakovlevich)]. Set of 3 paperback editions of Russian fairy tales, illustrated by Bilibine. In the original language, these first editions were published by Le Goznak from 1902 to 1903. Three albums (32.7 x 25.5 cm) of Russian folk tales, in Russian, illustrated by Ivan Yakovlevitch Bilibine (1876-1942). Bilibine's pictorial style borrows from the art of stained glass. All black-ink outlines are drawn with a firm, lively Art Nouveau line, and filled with bright colors and gold. From 1901 to 1903, the Goznak State Paper Factory published 6 booklets. These are the original editions, not the French-language reprints published in the 1980s. - Little sister Alionouchka and little brother Ivanouchka. White can.
