In quires in a filled paper jacket, folder and case with portrait of Palissy on enamelled plate stuck on the back, 36 x 27 cm. Limited edition of 77 numbered copies on large vellum of Rives with a double suite of engravings on Rives and Vidalon, this one signed by the artist and the publisher (J. A. Bressy) in pencil under the justification. The text by Bernard Palissy is illustrated with original woodcuts by the Bordeaux engraver Claude Durrens (1921-2002), well known for his work on stamps and bank bills. Remarkable copy containing in addition (because not mentioned in the justification) two original drawings by Claude Durrens and two large and 2 beautiful woodcut matrices used for the edition (19 x 18 cm and 18 x 17 cm). Spine rubbed.
