The biographies are illustrated with 160 plates in photogravure by Goupil. Bindings slightly rubbed. Also included: - LIÈVRE (Edouard). Collection Sauvageot, drawn and etched by Edouard Lièvre, accompanied by a historical and descriptive text by A. Sauzay. Paris, Noblet et Baudry, 1863. 2 vol. in-folio, half green morocco with corners. Album from the Sauvageot collection of the Imperial Museum of the Louvre illustrated with 80 plates out of text by Edouard Lièvre with printed notes interspersed. Provenance: the painter and draftsman Edmond Eugène Valton (1836-1910), attested by his handwritten bookplate on the title page. Bindings rubbed, corners dulled, accident at the top of the spine of the first volume, foxing, volume II missing. - [BERTHIAULT].
