Paris, C.-A. Jombert, 1739. In-4, [10] f., 654 p., [3] f. (privilege, table, catalog), pl., fawn calf, spine decorated, gilded figure in the center of the plates in a frame with triple cold fillet. The treatise is illustrated with 47 folded plates and a vignette engraved by Charles-Nicolas Cochin (1715-1790) for each of the 4 parts. The abbot Antoine Deidier (1698-1746) was a mathematician and professor at the artillery school of La Fère. Binding with unidentified figure. Binding rubbed, corners dulled, headpieces missing with slight leather tears, tear on the back cover, marginal wetness on the first few leaves and some freckling.
