159. [Binding]. Bound in red morocco with a fanfare and the royal coat of arms, Office de la Semaine Sainte in Latin and in French for the use of Rome and Paris. With reflections and meditations, prayers and instructions for confession and communion, dedicated to the queen for the use of her house. Paris, Vve Mazieres, Garnier, 1728. Large in-8, engraved title page, three plates, numerous initials. Bound in red morocco, richly decorated on the boards by repetition of four-lobed compartments of curved fillets encircling and encircled by small gilt irons. Spine decorated with small irons, including five-pointed stars and fleurs-de-lis in two formats, guilloche cuts, nicely rounded corners, gilt edges. Inner lace, Augsburg paper endpapers with orange, white and pink flowers, green foliage on copper background. Bound with the coat of arms of Marie Leszczynska, Queen of France (OHR 2507-4).
