Album of the lithographer and publisher Charles Étienne Pierre Motte (1784-1836) illustrated with 45 plates out of text lithographed by various artists and printed on Chine monté after Nanteuil, Delacroix, Devéria, Vernet, Johannot, etc. Most of the subjects are accompanied by an explanatory note of one or two leaves and each plate is certified by the dry stamp of Jean Vatout, librarian of the king. Binding damaged, the cloth is torn, the plate of Charlotte of Bavaria has an important lack (the torn part being present, a repair is possible), strong freckles on the support plates but not on the subjects in Chine contrecollée), other small defects. (Brunet, V, 1099; Vicaire, VII, 972, who announces 46 plates but the table lists only 45).
